    “Streamlining” global regulations is how cartels on both sides of the pond coordinate their efforts to suppress competition from less capitalized competitors. Thus the death of TTI is not a cause for mourning. Any government that wants to reduce wasteful barriers to trade can unilaterally stop all violent intervention in the form of “safety” regulations and let markets regulate themselves in response to consumer demand.
